I’m on PS4 slim and am one of those who got the R2 bug. I have switched controls R1 to R2 and vice versa so it’s playable but I still really feel like Slashing on R2 would be optimal.
Anyone else who still experiencing this?
R2 Bug should be fixed with Hotfix 1.2.5 (which is 1.04 on PSN) do you have this version?

no…the R2 bug is still there…i have the new patch (1.04 on ps4)
I do but it’s still not responding. I read that some got a patch for around 3gb while me and other downloaded apatch on around 350MB. Thought it might be because of that.
R2 not working for me in 1.04 patch, too.
R2 bug fixed for me. I got the 3gb patch.
Hotfix 1.2.5 aka PS version 1.04 has failed to address the non-responsive combat R2 for me as well.
I never had the R2 bug but after the update it’s definitely there, practically need a jackhammer to get it to work

Nope it’s non responsive still but go into accessibility and change ur R2 to R1 or something. It feels a little weird(still does and I bought it on release) but it will get you by while we wait for a proper fix.
It never works? Or not as fast as you are used to in action rpgs?

I saw some interview with Vavra, he said that this bug is because someone people have already broken controllers senzor… and lesser press is not triggered… I dont know if it is true or excuse, try other controller.
Do not worry, everything here is ambiguous. I easily break locks, but my friend ran into certain difficulties. Both play on the PC. Maybe the problem is not in R2.
R2 not fixed still. Or at least the sensitivity is set too high. My R2 works in 100+ other games.
