R2 STILL not working on PS4

This bug ridden mess has been out for a month and this issue still persists.

I have patch 1.04 on my ps4.

It was applied on Friday and it says on the patch notes that the R2 issue is fixed, but it’s not.

Just more lies.

You’re just making excuse after excuse and not fixing anything.

I know you’re not honest enough to offer refunds, so that makes you thieves.

You have my $63 and I have an unplayable game.

You stole my money.

How worn down is your r2 button? I had to purchase another controller about a year ago. Some games wouldn’t even register me pressing the button.

As was noted… somewhere around here. The r2 button is analog and required a 90% depression. They’ve changed that. However I don’t know if they’ve simply lowered it to simply require less of a press or if they’ve set it to something more binary. I’m not even sure if that’s a possible option. Do you have a second controller you can try?

Hey,

I will stick with the important things.
What TheCanadian wrote is actually correct. Pressure required for R2 button was lowered from 90% to 40% in patch 1.2.5. Did you try another PS4 controller, does the problem persists? You can also try to remap R2 action to any other button (in PS4 settings), it should work and confirm what TheCanadian said.

Have a good one.

I have a Scuf Infinity 4PS. The R2 button doesn’t work at all with it. I tried the controller which came with my PS4 Pro and this is slightly better but still not as responsive as other buttons. Overall, quite frustrating as I don’t have this problem with any other game and ideally we shouldn’t be expected to buy new controllers just to have a good experience with what is already a pricey game (at least in the UK).

Warhorse has already adjusted their software to combat this problem. If it’s a hardware issue, they can’t be held responsible for it.

I’ve had worn controllers where and mice where the button presses were not hampered by wear. Others it was.
This was simply wear and tear on the hardware and the software wasn’t to blame.
Hell my right analog stick has a wondering deadzone. So I occasionally get a slight drift in my camera angle on many games.

The developer is not responsible for my worn hardware. They can have sliders and features that allow me to attempt to mitigate these problems, but they are not required to do so.
