Rabbits... They don t run?

Why rabbit, when hunted and surrounded by arrow, simply stay still? You can try hundred of times with bow but IT seems like they don t care…

Common rabbit behaviour. They rely on camo and just don’t move at first. But when something larger approaches, they start running their hooks. Seems pretty realistic.

They’re just well trained for the noblemen to hunt them.

(minor spoiler possible)

It’s like Henry and Sir Hans: “You can’t hunt a boar with a bow! Boars are hunted with spears!”

Which is probably true I think, but then the entire game you either kill boars by stuffing them with arrows or by chasing them with a sword or an axe, or whatever

Roe deers are quite funny as well, becouse they’re very hard to approach, so the best way to do it (if you’re not a very good archer to shoot them from a very long distance) is to start running towards them as soon as possible and just kill them with a sword, as they are slow as hell even when running away from you.

Interesting though, I really enjoyed going to the woods and spending some time hunting hares and deer, but it’s the least realistic thing you’ll see in this largely-based-on-realism game.

Yup, animal behavior is one of the long list of things needing improvements… Hopefully that will be moddable when modding tools will appear… eventually. :stuck_out_tongue:

They dont run, they hop

Ahaha they should hop more often!
although is still pretty difficult to Hunt them, they should move away when you miss them with a bow, like they do when you walk too close!!
