do they happen only in fast travel or if i find them i can do something?
i found many wayfarers but i can never talk, only pickpocket them.
do i need to fast travel to activate events?
I never fast travel, and get events. For me though, events are still bugged. They don’t happen as much as they did before 1.3, and I no longer get any beggars, only battle ones. I rarely see the knights that want to duel anymore either. I have been carrying around shoes and food for the beggars, but haven’t seen a single one. That also means I can’t get the maps, books, and dice that some of the sell either. I also have yet to see the riddle guy again either.
No, you can encounter them when normal-travelling as well. There are certain points where they are triggered and sometimes it is funny how you can pass this point, walk just 100 feet and then turn back to that spot, and encounter two groups of brigands fighting one another where it was absolutely empty and forsaken place just a second ago.
So are all random encounter and working? But you guys are just saying it isn’t as often? Which I’m okay with.
Curious on what type of random encounters you’re having and whether you were fast traveling or not when you experience them.
I have only bandits. Fast travel.
