Rare events during fast travel

Hello @warhorse, I really like the way you made the fast travel. I loved it in Fallout and im sure I will love it here.
I understand that you will get ambushed sometimes and things like that. I want to ask if there are some special rare events/easter eggs with very little chance to happen?
Like monthy python bridge in fallout 2.

I hope so. If it is just constantly combat or helping a farmer on his way that would get old fast.

So my guess is that Warhorse has thought of that and added some easter eggs or funny events in there aswell.

Had zero intentions of using fast travel until I saw the mechanic they added.

I still plan to cover every inch of the map on foot, but this fast travel seems like a great opportunity to have a smoke break while I play.

Yeah, I didn’t say the travel system wasn’t nice, but that I, like you, prefer covering the entire map without using any fast travel. Same as I did in Skyrim and every other game I have ever played. Fast travel takes away from my personal game immersion, but that’s just me.

I don’t smoke anymore, but I vape now. I just pause every so often, to get my caffeine and nicotine fix.

aktchually…
Random events are not purely limited to fast travel.
So even if you are walking on foot from city to city, you can encounter wanderers, bandits, small skirmishes and many other events.

I played the beta proky I know this!

I was referring to the fact that for short period the game plays itself so I have time to take some bong hits!
