So… I now have 3 quest lines (1 being the main story) that I’ve got no chance of completing all because the bailiffs door in rattay is bugged and doesn’t want to open anymore. Considering this is part of the main story it would be nice if it got fixed seeing as I can’t progress anywhere until it is
There are three doors to try, on is down an alley between the building and the armorer around the back up the stairs. Then there is one in the front up the stairs. Then there is one in the front to the right before the stairs. Make sure your try them all I had this problem as well .
Thanks for the tip, I thought there were only 2 doors. I’ll give it a try when I load it back up 
Also you can just lockpick the doors and nothing happens.
I’ve been trying to avoid doing any illegal things on this play through so I haven’t got my lockpicking skills high enough to pick hard locks. Might have to start training it though if it’s not fixed soon
Buy or make the one mixture which insreases stealth lockpick and pickpocket.
So you don’t waste tine training if you don’t want to use them
You can buy them at on of the herbalist in the woods. Neat Talmberg and Ushitze.

I somehow managed to get it to open by saving the game nearby and reloading the game but now I’ve got another hard locked door stopping me from talking to Hans capon because it’s another glitched door that’s got a very hard lock. I’ll try the potion you mentioned on that one
