Rattay Tournament Rewards

Hello,
I managed to win some tournaments in Rattay, (I win 2/3 bouts against the 3 opponents) and I went to talk to Hanush for the reward but I’m only getting 400 groschens every time. I think I won around 5 or 6 different tournaments, I also did the Samopesh blacksmith quest but the reward doesn’t change.

I thought you were supposed to get an armor set from winning the tournament, am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: Looks like playing on old savegames (started during patch 1.3 or 1.4) caused the issues. Apart from the reward not being given correctly I was also missing some animations and some items (like the hunting sword) weren’t being displayed. On a newly created save file everything is fine. I can also confirm you don’t need to win every bout to get the piece of armor.

I’m quite sure I won at least one tournament without losing a single bout and the reward was still the same. Also, those I lost were because the chosen weapon was a “hunting sword” and that kind of weapon does not appear for me, so I can’t attack and I just have to be beaten to death and go for the next bout.

Yeah, but I wanted to get the achievement

Do Hanush’s mission about the vicar and get a decent sword.

I had one bout where the opponent was in his undie and we both did not have weapons!
I reloaded from just before asking to enroll and that went normal and won.

I got the full set and every piece works just fine. I’m on PC as well so maybe your game files are corrupt. Try running the verify integrity of game files on steam. All tournament armor set pieces have pretty good stats and should work well. Hope this helps.

I am on pc also. But use GoG. ( not everyone uses steam). I do use mods but so far the only mod I found that actively messes with the Tournament is “Pebbles is the best horse” mod (keeps you from talking to the herald)
I also had their names as a coding id sequence. I will hafta dismount my mods and see if they change. It is a time consuming P.I.T.A. to find which other mod might be doing this and if I can’t use the mod to use the armor I will do without and just take the award. It is already annoying enough to stop, save, log out and remove one mod restart, just to get in the tourney.
For me playing w/o my mods is no fun.

I’m on PC as well but you might be right, I tried on some old saves that I created months ago. I’ll try on a newly created save during 1.7.1.
Also, I got a couple active mods that might be causing some issues so I’m going to check on those as well.
It just looked weird to me because none else in the internet had this kind of problem so I thought I was doing something wrong to obtain the items.
