Real World Locations

Thought you guys might want to see the real-world locations on google maps. (for those that haven’t puzzled them out already)

The large town with the castle is Sázava. The monastary is very prominent.

The second location from the video is Pirkštejn Castle, in Rataje nad Sázavou:

Also highlighted on the map in the video:
Ruins at Talmberk: http: //

Bridge and water diversion (possibly old mill?) at Ledečko: http: //

Water diversion outside Rataje nad Sázavou: http: //

This crossroads (no ruins I can see): http: //

This patch of fields (unsure why): http: //

The villages of Samopše and Mrchojedy: http: //, http: //

and this particular patch of land along the river: http: //

The forum will only let me put two links in a post, which is why they’re all broken up. Sorry.

Nice one. Thanks for your summary.

I think it’s quite nice to have real world places in da game, like it was case with ArmA II., although their in-game terrain was otherwise rather lame (Altis from ArmA III. is much better in this regard). I remember I just took my car some two years back or so, and went there, near Aussig on Elbe, for a one-day trip - and even saw some BI developers there - and it was really cool to see game locations this way. Never been there before and still felt like in a familiar environ

Please use real world places in the game! Český Krumlov would look AWESOME in your game!!!

Damn that’s nice… I’d love to see real life places in the game

I second that! Český Krumlov is a great medieval location to be added in such a game.

Maybe in next acts. I don’t know if developers will expand map from act one or we will see completly new locations…

Where can I find Pribyslavitz?
