Pretty annoyed cant progress any further in the main story after putting countless hours into due to a bug in “a die is cast” quest, due to eric being at the monastery and not at the camp have tried every way imaginable to get out of the situation but now seemingly have to wait weeks for a patch for a game that i pre ordered and payed full price for and now i cant continue, was a huge supporter of yall but pretty p off by this

Same thing happened to me earlier. I managed to hop over the Vranik fence and run to Erik near the monastery. He gave me a quest which led me back to the camp. When I arrived back to Vranik, there was no dialogue and no way to get back in, so stuck again. I’ve been stoked on this game since I heard about it but this glitch is ruining it.
Well its a bit comforting im not alone in this i feel you though stoked this game finally came out have been waiting for it since i saw them at e3 years ago but after dealing with this its sorta killed the buzz. Like how are you going to release a game with a game breaking glitch on the main story. A side quest i can understand but this cmon
Yeah, didn’t have an issue all game (a few crashes and infinite loads but PC + infinite saves) until the end of the game where reloading my save, even up to several saves back, did not fix the last mission infinitely loading for me. So I’m playing through it again. /shrug
I didn’t have this issue on the main quests. But, I did realize that on the Playing with the Devil quest, if you have a mod that messes with the lock picking in anyway, it breaks a certain path in the quest.
If you are on PC and have any mods, try removing them all and reloading the save. If they are causing the bug, it’ll fix itself.
On console for me so no mods to unistall unfortunately, i could start a new game and that’ll probably solve it however really trying to avoid that
Try getting to this point and then having all your save data deleted…very disappointing, it’s such a great game too which makes it worse.
Awhh my sympathy atleast i can still catch up on side quest and the fact its such a good game is the worst part, if it was crap i would just move on and forget about it
I just tried again today and loaded the save game titled “the die is cast-start” which is an autosave immediately after leaving the monastery. I didn’t start any side quests like I did previously and just went strait through the main quest and now that crazy son of a bitch is where he’s supposed to be! Hallelujah!

Lol I did report to hanush and radzig befre going to the camp. As for the monastery I let the guy run free.
I downloaded update for PS4 now I can’t draw my sword these people can’t get it right and I paid a lot of money for this game
