Recommendation for "From the Ashes"

a) If you want to get full experience start a new game.
b) If you want to see the contents of the DLC load a save called “The Die is Cast”, or any other save BEFORE you entered Vranik fort.

After entering Vranik, certain quests cannot be started or progressed anymore, therefore you will be unable to recruit certain NPCs to Pribyslavitz.

I can’t imagine how unrewarding the DLC would be if you played it end game with a pile of Groschen to just throw away.

I can and did. 1.1M coin. dumped 976K+ coin in the box. if not for the running around for resources and figure which mods were interfering I did the building in about 50 min. one and done. now what…….

Get NPC’s , do rest of game and move on.

Sounds boring

my point. no accounting for those that already got to the point of affording the village. or end game. One and done No need to go back. Big towns do all I need and away from it more of my mods work.

That is not how it is intended to be for “best experience”, that’s kinda your fault

Best when you run into people during your story. I don’t know, to each their own I guess

I was half way on when the DLC dropped with my 1M . I wasn’t going to start over again for the 7th time just please the devs idea on how to run the DLC.

The throw away is the lack of rinse repeat activities of some substance. If attacked, defended and/or escorted, there’s be something of substance that could be repeated. If we could actually talk witth our hamlet folk, there’d be something of substance. If we had mini-games in the tavern involving talking and drinking, there’d be plenty of stuff to do. Etc

Start play new game, and try to manage the village almost immediatelly after Pribyslawitz is liberated.

Also remember = its a DLC which was added just few months after KCD was even a commercial success, and they most likely did not had time and resources to work on DLCs before that.

then don’t complain I suppose. In a system that money advances everything don’t get mad when you just dump a bunch of money into it and are dissatisfied. Don’t please the devs please yourself.

he doesn’t care, he wants to complain. They even said in the live stream it is best experienced in a new play through, which I think is why the released Hardcore mode shortly before to encourage veteran players to do that route. This way you are shorter on money and you can meet NPCs that you may have not helped earlier so are unavailable for recruitment.

After i finished the DLC i don’t even care about Pribyslavitz. If i go there again will be only to pick some money in the trunk that i don’t even need anymore at this point. Definitely is not my village or base of operations. I do prefer to stay in Rattay, sleeping with the pigs, because there i have all services i need.

I’m going back. Just wish Pribyslavitz opened more activities in northern quarter of the map. I want to be more invested in my hamlet people and the place… just not enough there yet. Can’t play a drinking-talking mini games at the tavern. Can’t engage my peeps in conversation. Can’t go on a final call patrol. Can’t take off my armor and weapons and put them on display racks in my own home. Can’t bathe, launder or get somebody to mend clothes in my own home. Etc

You don’t even have a home in this crap. You only have a floor with some beds where random NPCs sleep from time to time… What a waste of potential this DLC is…

To each their own, I like it. I also used to live/operate post game out of the Huntsman cottage in Talmberg. After missions and general sandbox play it will be decent. You should be able to repair your own product, there is a grind stone (idk if it came with 1.6.1 or not but I heard people complaining there isnt a grindstone, there totally is), you can hunt and sell to butcher and/or Kornelious(Kornelious will buy everything so you can loot bandits on the roads near P.Slav and dump off to him), you can fight in the arena (though that’s kinda just for fun, no real point), you can do archery (again, pointless just kind of fun). It’s not the best, no, but it’s not like there is a lot to do in Rattay either, aside from spend money in shops like a tailor (which will hopefully come when they expand as Divish’s end DLC dialogue suggests).

As mentioned earlier, to each their own though.

I think that will not be expanded in any time in future. If that was to be the case, this would be already implemented. I think Divish say this only for the narrative and nothing more. WH will not touch this thing anymore, for them is take it or leave it.

Would be nice if we could build towards a festival … the Pribyslavitz Boar festival: good conversation, good drink and good eats

Henry works with the brewer to see how much barley and hops we need. Check in with Kornelius to request some supplies. Check in with the baker/butcher to see what special goods need to be obtained. Etc

idk man, they could easily add content or another future DLC.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is just the first story in a trilogy of stories that is Kingdom Come, as I’m sure you know. I’m not holding my breath, but it could easily be added to if they wanted it to be.
