I know a lot of people are going to piss, and moan because “there are a million different multiplayer threads!” well stop right now because i already know, I just think it would be cool if we could have that same experience again with this. Massive battles, you and your friends common soldiers, it just seems like it would be awesome.

No, it was quite borings battles. Stand in a line and wait to be shot dead? Not the best example of interesting game.
And about KCD, i backed a single player game.
They have mount and blade Napoleonic wars which is really fun but i know you already play that.
I though exactly the same, but htem I tryied Battleground (Half-life 2 mod) and it turns out to be fun actually.
I still cant get the argument "I backed for… " Can anyone explain it to me please?
ya, honestly, why does it matter if they add multiplayer to you guys? We want it, you dont, so dont play it. They can make a strong story based game and still have great multiplayer.
I dont want them spending time and money to develop multiplayer when they promised single player. Dont hold your breath guys theres not going to be multiplayer.

Massive battle will happen, but only once, MAYBE twice. The reason: A huge battle is an extraordinary event and will be treated as such. Daniel clearly said that it’s not a Mount and Blade game and you actually don’t need that kind of game, because you have it already. Mount and Blade 2 will be released in the meantime until KCD gets released.
Also Warhorse Studios wants to concentrate on the story and the realistic authentic approach of the Medieval Age, which is a very tough job already. You should read through the threads like people discussing how to carry a quiver or how to bend a bow and which techniques existed in this era and location. Those are details that people are looking for in this game. Also a true singleplayer experience is something that people want.
@Daniel_Boon: I don’t know which really good singleplayer experiences also had similar multiplayer experiences. Just two examples: Payday 2 (which makes MP way more fun and enjoyable than SP) and Farcry 3 (SP much better than MP).

i know they wont add it, I just said it would be cool to see a massive multiplayer experience.
The only multiplayer option for this game I would support would be an online Tournament Mode.
Aside from The Last of Us there have been very few Good story based games lately. So the majority of games these days are just over glorified chat rooms.
