Replaying on Hardcore mode for achievements

Hello. I still miss hardcore achievement and tried it till certain point of frustration. I am about to put all efforts in order to prepare myself well before big events such Runt, Monastery, Mines by grinding on sidequests and looting everything valuable without forcing myself on killing, stealing, and reading until I finish Pribyslavitz.

Any advice for Hardcore in KCD with all debuffs from people finishing it?
I finished base and most of DLCs.

Especially when dealing with certain quests?
I know Runt is helmeted now. I will avoid killing people so I will train in arenas.

Sidequesting. Accept A bird in the hand, mark map with cages. Find treasures.
Wake up 2 hours before dusk.
Wear kettle hats, open bascinet.

Eating dried, smoked food, garlic, honey, lard.
Drinking water, wine, mead, beer, pale, spirits.

I don´t know my perks from memory, but I try to remember to check at home. Also there are new perks regarding the dog (didn´t check them yet).

Why is garlic and lard mentioned? What´s the advantage?

What weapon will you use? I think blunt is the best for Runt.

I found out you can accept sidequest where you receive 3 cages and once you place them, they show as objectives on your map, so you mark the pathway.

I chose food that doesn’t spoil overtime so I can pile up.

I used sword and bow at the beginning, mace and halberd from mid game. When I faced Runt I hit him twice with halberd and won so I will probably do the same.

I know the quest. So if you drop a cage yu get a marker on the map?

If I understand correctly, you want tha “NO-kill” trophey. Why choose sword when blunt is better against the only one you need to kill? (I use blunt but I equip sword when I take my nobleman clothes)

At least it’s on wiki like that. I didn’t know too.

The cages are shown on map and since the quest is not limited, only until you start quest in camp above Sasau.

I was trying no kill achievement in first walktrough but I accidentally killed worker in Sasau monastery during sidequest which I spent really long time and without saving so I said fuck it, I’m going to kill now.

I am going to use halberd from Cuman camp, hopefully I’ll find one during the assault. But yeah, at that point, I used all kinds of weapons since I had arsenal to disposal, I wiped camp three times.

One time I tried sword against Runt and it was really not worth the pain, bow did the job, but I’m gonna keep that as backup plan if halberd fails against his helmet.
