Reputation is bad -100 (A quick question?)

So basically i wanted to do an roleplay of a farmer/hunter that owns a house near the woods (the 2houses below Uzhitz) so i assasinate the owners and drag them far in to the woods then i went to buy food from Uzhitz the next day and then boom everybody just tells me to fuck off and my rep is -100 but the guards don’t care so what did i do wrong? Edit:I just went to sasau trying it again and it seems like that the villagers dont like me sleeping in other peoples houses instead of them noticing the murder

Also sorry for my bad english

You have to do missions for the town to make them like you again.
the guards don’t care because the didn’t see it.
the people care because I’m assuming the other person saw you kill the first, making your rep go down.
Sleeping in peoples houses that are owned also lowers the rep, even if the person is dead.

Sorry but you can’t RP the farmer  I hope the devs can make it so you can buy houses in or out of town, buy a farm, hire helpers and do farming. It would be fun!

Are there any other ways of getting reputation up in a town? Like for instance could you over pay a merchant when haggling? And perhaps it would increase rep?

Yea we shall hope so but i dont mind roleplaying in lodgings

Overpaying a merchant does help but only with other merchants, not with the populous. Try any side quests that the inn keeps can give

Giving coin to beggars and helping wayfarers increase your rep.

Well the problem is I have 43 rep in talmberg, I’ve done about 2 quests there… And I can’t seem to find anymore… Unless more of them unlock as you progress the main story… Also for some reason my rep with Talmberh villagers is decreasing every so often for no apparent reason… I’m not even in Talmberg most of the time… The rep system makes little sense and just seems to do it’s own thing at times…
