Is there some skill which reduces the efects of the hits when in combat? I mean, there is a skill for the sword damage and speed at which you react, there should be aswell a skill that reflects how are you used to get hit, so that each time you feel less the pain and have less recoil when getting an impact. That would be nice, if you haven’t made it yet.
Wear proper armor
No, no, I mean… Since I haven’t played the game, I can’t tell how this works. But what I am meaning is that a person does not only gets better at giving hits. Also at takin’em, and not only because of the armor. A person “gets used” to feel pain, and actually, after feeling a lot of pain, a lot of times, can react faster than the first time, something like “ignore the pain”. If you haven’t thought about reflecting that, you might think about it. If not for this game, because is actually pretty advanced in its design and you might make a mess with it, for others you might do around this combat system, cause I am pretty sure this game will have a second part! Or I hope so.
I don´t know if something like this is in the game.
Adrenaline dulls pain on some levels and with it you can ignore damage for a moment but there is no way anybody can get used being hurt. After all we are speaking here sword cuts, stab wounds, crush damage and piercing wounds.
Well then, how is adrenaline manage? Any skill involved or something that makes it feel progressive?
I don’t know cause adrenaline kicks in when flight or fight situation and its body’s automatic action once humans brains animal part had decided its time to fight or flee.
Armor is your friend, to put it as simple as possible. As you level up your swordsman skillsand acquire new perks, you will be quicker with your attacks and it will be a little easier to defend against your enemy, plus you will be able to kill your enemy quicker.
