Retroactive Quest Fixes

Will these “fixes” to main quests such as Questions and Answers be fixed only for future playthroughs, only loading prior to the bug, or will current save files 20 hours later work as well? QandA bug is the best example. I have seen it asked multiple times, here, on Twitter, and Reddit. However, I have not seen anyone answer it definitively. Usually someone asks will this be fixed? The answer is “It should be fixed in 1.3.” Almost always there is a follow up with what I am asking (will I need to reload, is it retroactive, etc.) And almost always there is no reply. I say almost because I haven’t seen or found a clear reply that says no you will not have to reload an old save prior to the bug for example. I hope I just missed it. It is very concerning as I have played about 25-30 hours since that bug where Radzig just starts walking back to Ratay instead of s cutscene. @WH_janrucker Can we get an answer on that specific point? I just want to know whether I should start a new playthrough is all. And stop at QandA until 1.3. However, if it will fix it in my current save I’ll just do alchemy till then lol.

I’d pretty much like to know as well. I have yet to turn in the quest to Sir Radzig, but I’ve already completed “Pestilence” by speaking with the bailiff. Hopefully it will be retroactive, and I really don’t want to lose 50-60 hours of playthrough. Sigh. At least if I know it now I know if it’s worth to keep playing and completing side quests or if it’s best to start a whole new playthrough… Sigh. Hey there,

i just talked with the scripters who created the fix for this issue. You don´t have to start the quest over. After the patch Radzig should go (it will probably take some time for him to arrive) to the right place, even when you continue already activated quest .

Have a good day guys.
