Returning my Copy - Here's Why

Guess this is the key sentence in your post. Not that I agree with it, but the sentiment is very clear.

A bit like those Youtube videos that has a question mark after the title, to signal that “If everybody is against me, I can point to the fact that I did ask a question rather than stating an opinion”.

I must admit, that a number of your points seem to point to a lack of paying attention to what you are told on loading screen, in game, in logs, in dialogues.
Or not having played much.

Your gripe about “mini saves” not happening when important bits have been reached (goals, quest points etc.) is puzzling to me. I often get a message across my screen at such points telling me “Game saved”, so I’m not sure what you are missing.

This is an odd question at many levels.
(1) you don’t have to repair your stuff. KCD doesn’t have a break mechanic. keep fighting… just can’t stand still trading shots
(2) if you suffer damage because you fight enemies, loot the dead enemies and use their kits to fix stuff (even if it’s only up to a point.)
(3) Rattay isn’t the only place to get repairs. You can repair all the same things in Sasau. And the only thing you can’t repair in Ledetchko is footwear. In Talmberg quarry and Pribyslavitz (if you activated ashes and stick with blacksmith), you can fix armor and weapons.
(4) if you wear many of the chausses, you don’t have to sweat the cobbler and cobbler kits

I’m looking forward to Red Dead as well. If you do trade it in I hope you have fun with it. I might trade mine in for RDR2 as well

I’ve seen these save messages as well, but when I die and respawn I’m sent further back to the last bed I slept in. Not once have a returned to one of these saves. I’m not sure if it is a bug specific to my console or if I’m missing an update but these saves might as well serve as advertisements to what could be :stuck_out_tongue:

And I’ll admit I’ve missed a lot of information while playing this game. Most tutorials have felt slap-dash and half explained to me and do very little to entice me to use some features of the game since they’re usually gruellingly difficult early on.

True true. But I’ve been far to busy making hair o’ dog potions so I can get drunk off my ass and not suffer the consequences.

So basically you complain about some game mechanics and when you are told about what you can do to actually fix it, you have any number of excuses why not…

Perhaps you should have phrased major parts of your “review” slightly different.

Well my friend, all i can say after reading your post is that:

“This game is not for you. Go have some fun with another game that is more in your taste.”

But you cant blame the game itself because it not meet your standards for a “good game” and you cant blame WH for making this game. I’m not here to play the role of “fan boy” but truth be told, those guys made an humongous effort to put this game out of nothing, so on this perspective i forgive many issues and development choices in this game that i don’t like.

But i still play the game and enjoy the good that it have.

110 hrs and you think you can return it, the only point i would agree on is the save system other than that ive not had any of these problems after around 20 30 hrs i could kill whole groups without breaking a sweat. Maybe these are console problems as on my PC its runs fine mostly a few slower spots nothing unusual in that though.

I’ve re-read your initial post and can only surmise that you are willfully ignorant.

Learning the save system is as important as learning to fight, pickpocket, steal, lockpick, learning to travel, learning to do ANYTHING in the game.
You failed on several accounts and now you blame the game for your lack of trying to learn the game.
