Revenge of the cuman king - bugged fighting quest

“Cuman” men in burnout Skalitz offering the fist fights.
This is bugged as hell, when I accept their challenge immediately, current task during the first fight automatically fail and after I beat opponent, I can’t to speak to anyone anymore and continue in the quest (but the quest remains in quest log).

So I tried to first refuse the fight, end dialog and then speak with the man again and accept it. The quest continue successfully in this case, but it’s NOTHING in quest log and you will have the “activity” mark on the map forever. Like you have never ever did this, and quest didn’t exist at all.

Had anyone the same problem? Anyone solved this? Please WH fix this quest!

I seem to have run into a new bug through this method. Every time I attempt to talk to Odd Bird after beating the four of them at once, combat initiates again and I have to fight the four of them AGAIN lol. Went 2 rounds without healing, that was tough. Now I’m on my third and seem to be in a perpetual loop of ass-kickings. Gonna reload and see if I can fix it.

If it worked out differently for you and you were able to complete the quest, let me know what you did.

EDIT: I can’t talk to Odd Bird, but the combat only seems to start again once I enter and exit the arena

I FOUND A FIX!!

So basically what you need to do is start the quest the bugged way. First refuse on initial dialog, then accept after talking to him again. Progress as normal. Once you get to the point where you have to fight all four, STAY INSIDE THE ARENA. I’m not sure how important that is, but this is what worked for me. Now, you need to make sure you take out Odd Bird LAST (he wears yellow). Once Odd Bird is defeated, initiate conversation with him before he has a chance to exit the arena after waking up. He should then have the proper dialog and you’ll receive your reward.

If it’s too difficult, you may need to replicate the bug I found in my previous post. I found on my third straight attempt on fighting all four at once, the “Cumans” were significantly softened up. One of the guys only needed one punch to be KO’d.

EDIT: Unfortunately they still fight me after I exit the arena. Oh well, quest “complete” either way.

Thanks for your effort. Yes when you refuse first you can complete it, but you don’t see the quest nowhere in quests list, it’s a bug.
But the attack of four of them, is not a bug :smiley: that’s how quest is made.
ANYWAY I found a nice trick to beat them easily, when you K.O. each of them in the arena, loot them their armor at least from head, since you punch their faces :smiley: And then is much easier to kick their asses, when they attack you.

I had it, but at the time i was already so sick of bugs in this game, that didn’t bother and skipped that shit.
