Hey i just fnished the quest in the topic and was kinda shocked when a while later i checked my inventory to realize i suddenly had a fortune of silver in my Pocket. Spoilers, obviously! I reloaded a previous safe and did it again to see what happened. I got 250 groschen from the overseer when i turned in the builder that dropped a stone on me, then, from the lord i received 250, 150 and another 2175 groschen afterwards. Not only is that about 5 times of what i had before being at level 7, it is an ungodly sum compared to all the other quests presented to me so far. It kills all balance and quit frankly the immersion in the game. Simply getting a horse was interesting enough considering the value of one back in the days, now they just handed me the equivalent of 4-5 chainmails for a pretty simple errand. I really liked the idea, that obtaining and maintaining a real armor kit and weapon would cost me dearly because that was the reality back then but if those sums are the usual reward for a sidequest, later on in the game, i will never have money probems again. Which would be a shame. Can anybody tell me if he received a reasonable amount and my game is bugged, then i will simply throw away the money and be happy. Or is that really the norm?
If that is not a bug then i have to say, the dialog in that case would have been ridiculous:
Lord of Talmberg: Here, have a reward, good job.
Hands over enough money to buy a cottage, hire farmhands and live like a lord
Havel: thank you my lord.
Later on the lady Stephanie wants to gift him a precious linen short for her side quest, worth 100 groschen ingame and Havel is like, no no, that is way too expensive, i just did a small errand job for you. but 3000 groschen? easy.
