Any tips on successfully completing Robber Baron quest with no bugs?

I tried the main work around which is meant to be clearing the camp and killing Wolflin yourself and then reporting back to Bernard, except the game didn’t seem to register that I killed Wolflin and I had no extra dialogue options for Bernard

Debating leaving the quest until further patches

I’ve seen both dueling and convincing him to leave work on YouTube.

I actually did both, as it was fun duel, but from RP perspective forcing him to leave and pay damages was my way
