Will realistic type romances with nudity be featured as cinematic CGI cutscenes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance officially as they are featured in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt basicly?!
There are some romantic and sex cutscenes mentioned.
I have it on good authority that KCD is basically Leisure Suit Larry, but set in Medieval Bohemia.
So⊠yea
Witcher 2 had better sex scenes than Witcher 3 except for the scene with Yennefer and Geralt on the stuffed unicorn. That was a great scene.
This games look so well done. I imagine every part of it will look incredible. It wonât matter to me if it has nudity in the romance scenes. Some romance scenes without nudity are just as well done as those with it. Nudity in games doesnât bother me a bit. Oh my goodness I havenât played L.S.L. in so many years.
its medieval times, everything will be done with sheet covered
Actually thatâs wrong. Medieval times were sexually much freer than the renaissance.
I have just read some notes from czech ethnographist Karel Jaroslav ObrĂĄtil about sexuality in czech 19th centure village. For example: âTwo adults met near the village in ProstÄjov region, both about 40 years old. Man and woman. They were talking about normal innocent things, but then man said: âYou know what? Letâs fuckâ. And women went, without any word, not even blushing.â
Or.
ââŠIn the night, girl will allow her lover to do anything. Neither brothers nor parents say a word, although they all sleep in the same room.â This is about a couple that is not yet married.
Sure, since middle-ages the church always tried to somehow control and direct sexuality. but as far as I know, it had little effect on village life.
Content Descriptors: Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Use of Alcohol
Rating Summary: This is an action role-playing game in which players assume the role of a man on a quest for revenge against invaders in 15th-century Bohemia. From a first-person perspective, players explore open-world environments, complete objectives, and engage in melee-style combat against bandits and enemy soldiers. Players use swords, knives, and bows to kill enemies; large blood-splatter effects occur during combat, leaving blood stains on bodies and the screen. Players can also injure/kill non-adversary characters, though this may negatively affect playersâ progress via a penalty system (e.g., fines, jail). A handful of sequences depict additional acts of violence and/or gore: a prisoner executed by decapitation; an eviscerated corpse shown at a crime scene. The game depicts some nude female characters with exposed buttocks and breasts. Brief cutscenes also depict characters engaging in sexual activity: a nude woman climbing atop a man; a man in the background briefly thrusting against a womanâsexual moaning sounds can be heard. During the course of the game, playersâ character can consume alcohol, resulting in drunkenness (e.g., screen-blurring effects, passing out). The words âfuck,â âcunt,â and âshitâ are heard in the dialogue.
At least one sexual scene is confirmed
Side note I found interesting: I read somewhere that church grounds, cemeteries and shrines were some of the most favourite spots to have sex as they were safe but pretty much deserted unless it was one of the special holy days. It was a sin to have extramarital sex of course (with harsh punishments), but how much that was enforced varied.
people in the middle ages used to sew dicks and vaginas on their clothing. They were very impious. (Not so much the Nobility, but the broad population was rather dirty minded )
Are you referring to codpieces or was their a trend of attaching literal genitals to your clothing I am unaware of?
No, Iâm not talking about the codpieces.
Take a look here: Dick and Vagina
These were sewn to accesoires as well as clothing, your hat for example. I donât know why and when! A friend of mine has written quite a bit about these pieces and you find them very very often in the late middle ages. Iâd have to look up the topic.
The church tolerated brothels, and prostitution.
People in this thread really over estimate how much the church policed the day to day activities of the populace.
St. Thomas Aquinas
âProstitution in the towns is like the cesspool in the palace: take away the cesspool and the palace will become an unclean and evil-smelling placeâ.
St Augustine
"If you do away with harlots, the world will be convulsed with lust."
The most prudish times were during the Victorian era, not in the Middle Ages.
Iâm so confused lol.
Why do you even want sex?
I mean⊠If I wanted something like that I would get a sexual game.
(Not to say that I have something against it, Iâm just curious why youâre so focused on it)
All good RPGs have sex in them.
But are theye good RPGs becouse theye have a romance option?
No. It was just a fun fact.
