Save Corrupted During “Tough Love”

I am playing on a PS4, 23 hours in and looking at a corrupted save file during the above quest. I just get an error when I try to load it.

How is this a real thing? The last time I experienced this was 20 years ago playing “Shining Force II” on the Sega Genesis after hurling my controller at the console. I deserved that. This is absurd.

Dumb looking rain, little control glitches, silly texturing effects, and a weird save system are completely forgivable, and kind of endearing. This is not.

You are telling me you released a game with limited save options that has a habit of eradicating the limited save options.

Don’t release broken products, it’s that simple. I won’t be back.

Like the other Survival games where you will lost your save+progress if you died?!

yeah maybe the removal or overwriting of existing saves after hundreds or so is annoying but nothing which will cause an armageddon :slight_smile:

My apologies, I shouldn’t have been so harsh. I’m just not used to that type of glitch.

It’s odd that none of the “negative” things I read about this game bother me in the slightest… but then this happened lol

This game is, over all, pretty incredible; I suppose it’s just a lesson of taking the really, really good with the bad.

Again, sorry for over-reacting in my initial post.

I’m fine with whatever mechanics game developers choose to put into a game on purpose (well, I guess that time I chucked the controller at the sega over Shinging Force is an exception…), but these types of bugs (frequent crashing, corrupted save files) can be game-breaking for some people.

but save corrupts are common in game nowadays so its not just warhorse.
