Firstly I am really looking forward to getting stuck into this game but before I do I heard that there is going to be a save/exit option added by way of a patch? Is this going to happen and if so when?
Yes it is going to happen but a date has not been given yet. Shouldn’t be too much longer.

No problem. It really is an amazing game.
it will come with the next patch (ver. 1.3) on Playstation its displayed also as ver. 1.05
but right now you can basically save whenever you want you just have to use saviour schnapps or sleep in a bed (that is yours) or go to a bathhouse… so there are many options already

This. Saviour Schnapps is extremely easy to make. I have the save anytime mod on PC and I still start pretty much everyday in game day by going to the apothecary in Rattay and buying 5 belladonna and creating a few Saviour Schnapps to sell. You also need Nettle, which you can find pretty much everywhere.
