After the most recent patch, saviour schnapps, sleeping and going to bath houses where the game actually tells you, you have saved…do not work at ALL. Progression is nigh on impossible at this point…but wait! There’s more! The alchemy bench now launches me into the air by like 200 feet!
Out of curiosity, were you playing while the game was updating?
Yes I was downloading the save whilst playing after I downloaded it I closed the game and it installed.
I did the same, had to start over again. If your save is from before 1.01 (day one) update, you’ll have loads of bugs, some of them gamebreaking. The state of the in-game world has changed with day one patch.
I think that’s the issue and you needed to make a save AFTER the install so your save would be a 1.03 patch save, not a 1.01 save…
So I need to start all the way over in order for this to be fixed? Love the game so I don’t mind but man I just got to the bandit camp

Well the day one patch downloaded with the game I’ve only downloaded one patch and that was the most recent patch patch 1.03 on ps4
See I tried but no save would register. No matter the method. The game would say it was saved but it wouldn’t, only save was from the 1.02 patch not 1.03
Digital release… I see. Not sure what went wrong then. Hopefully someone from Warhorse will be able to reply to you and help 
Hmm, that is odd. I think I borked mine too by playing while it was updating, but i’m saving that surprise for myself tonight when I get home lol.
Lol well after a quick saviour schnapps test it seems the whole new playline is working so I guess my 25 hour save is useless now and I get to start over. Oh well.

I have the same issue at the bandit camp, if i go back to a save before the camp it all works well, but as soon as i start baptism of fire and reach the cuman camp the saves stop working. it would be really annoying to strart the whole thing over and realize when you get to the same point that the same thing happens.
Lol yeah it really does suck I was just starting to get Henry where I wanted him besides all that gold! I had like 8.5k but thanks a ton at least I can actually play and progress now. Next time I’ll be sure to watch a lets play while it downloads instead.
Well damn by that time I hope they have more patches out, this game makes Skyrim look like the most polished game ever made, still this game absolutely destroys Skyrim…
I think im not gonna play for a few days and see how this evolves, i have allready wasted like 2 days trying to get past that quest, trying different saves, and different tactics. but all with the same outcome. As i said, all saves before that quest works, so it feels like that quest is botching things up
