Before I attack a bandit camp I like to save just in case I die because I’ve found that regardless of how much experience or great gear you have a fight can spiral out of control with just one mistake. Recently that very thing happened and I died fighting bandits. Unfortunately none of my Saviour Schnapps actually saved the game which resulted in me having to repeat roughly an hours worth of progress.
On which platform are you playing?

I play on the PS4 Pro.

but for others experiencing the game teeling you that you saved successfully but the new save file is not there, try to delete old saves manualy (in the load game list use square and the game will be deleted). It seems we are experiencing overflow of saves from the size of the file.

I have the same issue on xbox one. I can’t save using the saviour schnapps.
will this be fixed in the next patche?
Thats what I’ve had to do in order to ensure it will actually save. Plus I check Load Game to make sure the save is there before I continue.
so how many save can we have before this bug occur?
One oldest save should be enough to create another save. But before you do that guys, it wouble great if you would send me the saves from PS4 to my email jan.rucker@warhorsestudios.cz. It woudl really help us to fix this once and for all

I didn’t count when it happened to me but if I had to guess i’d say anywhere from 15-25 saves where in there when I went through to delete them. Its only happened to me twice so far but both times were extremely annoying. Just check Load Game after every Saviour Schnapps to make sure the save is actually there. Having to delete some saves and use another Saviour Schnapps is better than replaying 30 minutes to an hour of progress.
So another question, you weren´t able to save via schnapps but you were able to save via other possibilities like bed etc?

I had the issue where i wasnt able to save using potions, and nothing else worked. quests did not save, sleeping did not save, i only had 7 saves and i loaded each of them with same issue and had to start again.
