Greetings to all!
Here is a little guide I made, that I think will be useful to all those who dislike and also to all that do like the way the “save game” works in the game.
I hope it will be helpful and thank you for your time.

Your thread, dear sir, was just bookmarked into my private collection! Congratulations!
Hoorah. I’m glad I could be of assistance dear sir.
thanks for the guide, but for me this only worked once or twice in about 15 tries. Don’t know where I went wrong, because I followed your guide assiduously. Also, the times it did work, i only got one good potion out of it - you probably have a perk that produces more than one potion. Do you need a certain alchemy level for this potion to get consistent results? I’m level 1 because I trained this skill once at the herbalist next door but haven’t done any real alchemy at all so far.
Hm, to be fair I’m not quite certain. When I did, I already had prepared the cure for Merhojed, one unsuccessful attempt, one successful attempt and then the same for the schnapps. I’d say I probably had level 1 Alchemy, also I think it’s vital the amount of time you boil it for. I’m glad I could be of assistance.
As i learned to read in the first 4 IC days i know how to make these. Rather the game gives you 30 belladona ish in the area you start. So your not short on save potions.
If you want the recipe dm me
Reply to myself just watched the OPs video. You do not need to pull the bellows that much.
Pull it once let it die and pull it again.
Then once you add the ground beladonna pull bellows once more then fill the phial.
So the mixture should never boil? Anyway, I’ve tried it, but that doesn’t work either.
It says in the book that it needs to boil three turns, if I’m not mistaken. To be fair I’m not sure what you’re doing wrong and I’m sorry that you’re having such a hard time with it.
It’s all good now, I just brewed 3 potions in a row - and yes, I got 2 potions each. The trick was to pull the bellows 3 times after you put the nettles in the cauldron with the wine, then once more while the first hourglass on the nettles ran down (don’t know if that is necessary, but at least it did not spoil the potion for me) and then 3 times after you put in the ground belladonna.
Great thread, not tried any alchemy yet… looking forward to having a go tonight now
I’m glad you made it .
Hey, to be honest I’ve skipped all the alchemy in other games, but here it’s just brilliant and so much fun.
Yep, I’m totally immersed in the game and wondering why I’m making these potions. What are they for exactly.
I have poison, I just got the thought of adding it to the cooking pot in the tavern! Wonder if it will let me and what will happen! Ha!!
Well the Saviour Schnapps allows you to save your game whenever you like, for the rest of em, they give buffs and heal you.
Hahhaha well if you want to live there rest of your life in Bohemia with the thought of what you did in that inn…the go ahead!
A potion to save a game? What game am I saving I don’t understand. The only game I play is dice sometimes but I don’t understand what I’m saving.
Pardon me, sir. I’ve received a few heavy blows to me head recently and mumble gibberish sometimes. Some fine rest at the bathhouse will serve me well.
