Seasons in KCD

Just watching some KCD vids on the tube and got to thinking, SEASONS, how cool would it be if they could make that a feature. I KNOW, it would probably be next to impossible. But admit it, it would be totally cool!:grin: And a player house, to warm up in the winter, cut wood, hunt for food in the fall, and such things. Oooooh i would love that. But i think i am being totally unrealistic here. Maybe they can add it in the seauel, that i am sure they will make if this game turns out as great as it seems.

I believe the events in the game cover a period of a few months only (late spring/early summer).

Ahaa, yes ofcourse. But i hope the game will be playable AFTER main story. Since it is a RPG. So that after the main story Henry is free to do what he wants, murderer, thief, tournament champion, etc etc… Open ended like that.

It would be nice, I agree. Sadly they won’t add things like that. I would love to set up a camp site, chop some wood down for the fire, set up a tent, cook food and sleep through the night. That would be wonderful. My horse can carry the supplies in case I need to set up camp. Only mods can help us with that :frowning:

I agree with everyone that has posted here so far. Now that’s what I call a rare moment in life. :open_mouth::grinning:

Seasons might be near to impossible, but the idea of making a campfire and such would maybe not be impossible. Maybe they could do that with a dlc. If the rest of the game is as good as they say it is i would gladly cough up a few bucks for the camping idea.

Wouldn’t it be even better to do the things you have just named in the real life?

Ofcourse. It’s just that I do not live in the middle ages. I have a heated house, i do not hunt. And believe it or not… I can’t really afford a plot of land and have no knowledge of how to build a medieval house! :open_mouth: That is why i want to do it in a game. Hope this answer your question. Oh and regards to making campfires and camp in the forest. I actually do that often in real life. We have lovely nature areas in Denmark and Sweden and Norway. So every summer and fall is spent in nature, making fires and trekking. That however does not equal thst it won’t be a cool feature in a game where you have to travel alot.

Umm?..I do, but we are talking about a game here. You want me to become a knight in real life as well?

True. You are right. I apologize for having posted aninapropriate remark. It is true that being able to do the activities you have named in the game does no have any relation to what you do or don’t in the real life. Sorry for that. I hope this will be a great game and if the options you wish for will not be available on the day 1 then maybe some moders will make them possible.

I am on ps4, so atleast I will not be able to mod. It would be a cool feature, but think the game will be great even without it. No need to apologize. I use to think the same way. If you can do it in real life, then why do it in a game. But when i use that train of thought it is regarding to simulator games. Like skiing simulators and such. But then again, why not doing what you love, both in games and irl. It gets problematic though, if you replace actual life with simulated experiences.
