Did anybody of you find the secret path to pirkstein from the little creek below through the tunnel to the courtyard to pirkstejn? I found out yesterday by exploring and I was really blown away by the beautifulness of this! This is what makes the game so special for me. It was far more enjoyable for me then solving a quest!

What you found is called a, ‘‘Sally Port.’’ It allows soldiers from inside Pirkstejn to leave the castle (mainly at night. During day is suicide) and either 1) flee without casulaties , or 2) kill the attacking army then retreat into the castle. All castles in the game (and real life) SHOULD have some sort of sally port, though it is a huge weakness if it’s ever found. A sally port is exactly what Sir Radzig used to flee with his men and people out of the castle in Skalitz.
And it’s an awesome sally port.
Found it the other way (top down). Thought it was Sir Hans’ way to sneak in and out of the castle in order to support his nocturnal missions. Surprised there was no metal gate at bottom
