I fell in love with this game at the first glance.
Even if I’m pretty sure you already know, you should immediately optimize your homepage for search engines. Its nearly impossible to find this homepage via google.
To get even more attention on this game this is not avoidable.
I just wanted to let you know, so you can keep your fanbase growing and getting the title its fame it deserves.

That is actually true, but the first link that i see on google is the Kickstarter campaign you should be able to navigate to this website from there.
That is the curse of Social networks. There is a lot of sense in linking directly to Facebooks and Kickstarters and what not, but then your web page does not get the love it deserves. And the news sites also do not link to the site, because the videos are hosted elsewhere, forum is not that much interesting and blogs do not make enough splash.
Even without so many backlinks this forum has a lot of content that can help it rank. Just make links from this forum to other pages nofollow if they are not already and try not to link to other pages like Facebook or Tweeter from the bottom of your site since you loose a lot of backlink juice. Anyway I’m sure this page will rank because it’s awesome and google cam see that.(You should try to link to this site through your kick starter page, that will help a lot)
