i know that on this forum is lower tolerance towards magic and orcs and other such “unrealistic” stuff, but i have to say that the review of Shadow of Mordor on IGN got me a bit excited - especially its “nemesis system” and comparison to Batman
It should help to kill some gaming time till the Witcher 3 will get released and then in the end also the KCD…
I’ve preordered the game but don’t know whether I will be happy with the game or not. It sounds like the typcial repetitive 3rd person action adventure borefest, killing the same enemies over and over again. The quality of the story will decide whether it was 22€ well spent or thrown away…
Well, their personalities will be different, plus the many ways of getting things done, I don’t think I have ever seen a game similar to it before.

I’ve bought a lot of keys there (Steam, Origin, Uplay) for more than two years now on a regular basis. It’a 100% reputable and honest shop. If there is any region restriction it’s mentioned in the text on the left (in the restrictions tab). But of course it’s always a personal decision where to buy, it was just meant as a tipp.
I pre-ordered it for 29€ from g2a. I’m not really that exited but it looks fun. atleast something new to play while waiting for assassin’s creed unity
I can’t help it, this game just looks like Assassin’s Creen + Batman rip-off with orcs. And to hide the “rip-off” part, they hype up some Nemesis system which seems completely unnecessary, frankly.
But this is all just my bias speaking, I dislike LOTR as a whole (suffering through those three movies is one of my greatest lifetime achievements) and I have had enough of these action hack and slash games.
It looks and play nothing like either of those games. How is it unnecessary? Do you like games being as simple and unoriginal as possible?
On ultra textures is needed 6GB VRAM.I hope it’s just bad optimization or mine GTX 780 will have a problem in new games.For example Ryse looks great and in recommended specifications have just 2GB VRAM.
If this was anything OTHER than a Lord of the Rings game I’d be interested. But they’re making it a Lord of the Rings game, and wiping their @#$sses with the Lore in the process.
The very concept of the main character is wholly anathema to anything Tolkien wrote. Dead things lingering in Middle-earth are invariably BAD. Period.
