Sleep deprivation

It’s not a bug actually but rather a bad gameplay planning.

Experiment: Just for fun made Henry sleep for a very long time and after waking - consumed a couple of lullabies.

Result:

  • energy is as low as zero
  • eyelids are closing
  • Henry is whinning about how tired he is
  • Henry won’t sleep in the bed

After some walking and horsing around, I was able to put him in sleep for an hour, but the energy was still too low for the real activity. I think it’s a bug and lullabies must reset the sleep counter, like Melatonin does when you’re taking it for your jetlag.

I assume it’s only supposed to work on NPCs.

it does lower the energy in Henry, so it supposed to work for him as well.

Well, this is what I call “stressing the game with insane scenarios to find bugs”, you’ll always find one.

Once, I made Henry literally FLY ON THE SKY. Many staged over stressed scenarios produce lot of these “bugs”.

Not a normal scenario for a player though.

to drink potions isn’t a normal scenario? ok.

btw share your experience. bohemia lives through tough times and needs a flying superman.

another example is when i can’t sleep&save coz already slept a lot

But did it save last time sleeping? It is against abusing save system too.

There are plenty of places where you sleep w/o saving. I use sleep on a regular basis instead of waiting: it adds sort of fun to gameplay and keeps the energy level high. But ok, those are mine quirks. Still, sleeping pills are making person sleep despite the amount of sleep he had before.
