It takes 10 minutes to sleep 8 hours is that realy necessary ? Or can you speed it up and I just dont know?
It is unoptimised. Once the AI routines are finalised and then optimised the overall frame rates and the duration of waiting/sleeping and other similar processes will be much faster.
OTOH, I think that the â10 minutesâ is also maybe an exaggeration. I just have enough time to make a cup of coffee and sit back down after setting a sleep cycle to run, and that is on a relatively slow i5 2400. It is btw a good idea to break game sessions by moving around anyway, rather than sitting motionless for hours, so maybe this isnât actually a terrible thing to have to âsuffer throughâ anyway.
Maybe speeding this up but having a âpause on wakingâ to allow players to take advantage of these natural breaks would be the best of both worlds.

Yeah its a exaggeration but when you have your coffee and your doing a quest its annoying too sit through. You make great points about break time.

This will be much smoother in the final version of the game. For now, you might want to get a book and read a little in between ;0)
