EDIT: Fast-travel fixed this. Had to make a quick run toe Neuhof and back as just going back and forth between Rattay’s south gate and Peshek’s mill did not do it. However, once I made the Neuhof trip, Nightingale was there on schedule the very next time I looked.

This is my 2nd playthrough. First time, I had no problems with this quest. This time, however, Nightingale never appears at the church so I can’t go on patrol with him. anybody ever had this problem?
I’ve tried a number of different things. I’ve gone to the Bailiff immediately after the duel with Sir Hans, when it’s already about 1700, which is what I did in the 1st playthrough. No Nightingale. I’ve Gone home and slept, both before and after talking to the Bailiff, then gone to the church at 1100 next morning and waited there all day. No Nightingale. In fact, I’ve done this for 3 days in a row without success. I’ve also quit the game and restarted it both before and after getting the quest from the Bailiff. No Nightingale.
While waiting at the church, I’ve gone in increments of 1 hour and also 1/2 hour. Then I get up and run all around and into the church. No Nightingale. I’ve also left the quest marker “region” around the church, waited an hour, and come back, several times. Still nothing.
I’ve also looked all over town for Nightingale (I know what he looks like). Can’t find him anywhere I can get into legally.
So, any workarounds for this? Thanks.
