Some people have already beaten the game! Where is the PS4 and Xbox One patch!

Yep I posted that, the visual changes helps you track the sweet spot much easier, obviously I don’t know for sure if the mechanic has been changed or not, I used a mod on PC which also changed the visual to make the sweetspot easier to track and that made all the difference for me:

Edit: I should add before that visual mod I couldn’t even open the miller’s training chest, I’m on PC but use a PS4 controller to play the game.

I took that screen shot from a different post. I think he said he was PC.

Also make a “padfoot” potion. It gives you 5 lockpicking fpr 5 minutes. Still only pick “very easy” locks until you personally get the hang of it

Oh yea potions, didn’t think of look through those. Thanks.

Recipe for padfoot

Water
Valerian 1x
Eyebright 1x
Chamomile 1x
Cobweb 1x
Drop the cobweb and eyebright in the cauldron. Boil the mixture for three turns. Grind the valerian and add it to the cauldron. Boil for one turn. Leave the cauldron to cool. Meanwhile, grind the chamomile. When the mixture is cooled, add the chamomile to the cauldron, but do not boil again.

The delay is frustrating, period. Not because MS and Sony suck #$$ but because delays and instability are frustrating :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

KCD is for some of us an electric bug zapper. We act as moths and are drawn to it :star_struck: despite the hazards it presents. Hope the patches release soon before the fatal attraction gets the better of me

If I lose all my $*** because I cant wait, yeah it’ll be on me :exploding_head:. But, that fact won’t assuage my frustration. Consumers are not entirely rational

why so many people complain about lockpick when is the easiest thing, like all others skill Henry suck at the beginning let me give you a tip in the mill there is a chest that you can open 10 times speak with the miller in rattay and he will give you 20 or more lockpicks if you are lvl1 after you opened the chest 10 times you will be lvl 3 and buy from the miller 2 levels more, in lvl 5 lockpick is a piece of cake

I play on Xbox one, pick very hard locks and beat the game.

My gripe is not the mechanics but how often the game crashed late game.

To me, lockpicking was stupid until I figured out how to move the L stick

Yeah i was kinda sad about the game freezes toward the end. Definitely saviored schnapped it up every time i did something

yea that’s not even what mine lookslike…dont think I have those waves or whatever on the outside ring of the locks in my game…idk man

That’s what you’ll get in 1.3.2 on consoles.

gotcha, makes sense…think I’m running 1.2.5 at the moment, not sure really lol

Yep I think that’s the last console version, PC is up to 1.3.3 as of today.

I always just back out and retry the lock picking until the sweet spot is right above the opening…idc how long it takes. Once it’s there it’s easy picking

The lock picks, keep breaking them. get the perk tougher locks its one of the first and you are almost out of the woods.

I had same issue when starting . what lockpick level are you. because I was thinking this is hard until i looked at my skills and seen level 3, had to remind myself I was a peasant at lock picking.

soonoa fter I opened my first the started to become easy fast so now open every easy and very easy box i find to build up skill.

You realize at some point you can actually pay miller Peshek once you get to the Rattay mill to level up your lockpicking skills? Oh and while you’re at it level up your pick pocketing skills with him too. If you don’t have enough money, do some main quests/side quests/activities to earn some coin. Or dig up treasures.

If you’re still having trouble lockpicking, there’s countless videos on YouTube for tips and tricks. Look them up before claiming the lockpicking is gamebteaking.

Btw I’m on Xbox and no where near to completion of the game.

I’m also running on 1.2.5. Strange thing is although I had fewer bugged quests (none of them gamebreaking, some annoying, some amusing) but my game started crashing far more often.

I’m hoping when 1.3 comes to my xbox one that that is solved.

1.Empty your and your horse’s inventory
2.Kill 2-3 Deer (can be found south southeast of Sasau, to the west of Rattay Mill)
3.Sell as much uncooked meat as you can to Peshek, cook and sell the rest in Rattay
4.Take that money and go back to Peshek and pay to level lockingpicking a couple times
5.Invest in a perk or two
6.Repeat until you’re satisfied

Also use the perk to make the lock closer to the end and suddenly you’ll almost pick easy locks on the first try.
