People on PS4 and Xbox One are still waiting for the patch to fix the game breaking locking picking and some people are already in there 2nd play through! This is BS! We want to play! I tried for 12 hours and lots and lots of lock picks and couldn’t pick one lock. Hardest thing i ever had to do in any game. I get it i could play without lock picking but i don’t want to, most people get 600 to 1000 worth of goods and coins from most chests and just skipping that makes it so much harder. Even the DLC armor that most people paid for is in locked chests that i cant open either. hurry up with the patch! I Fing pre ordered this game!
The patch was submitted for certification on Friday, it takes anything from 5-14 days for console certification (not including weekends), the delay is down to the certification process which Warhorse can neither control nor be responsible for, if you want to rant do it at Microsoft.

wow your a moderator and you say some rude shit like that? It wasn’t a rant it was telling facts! I still cant play neither can 1000s of other people. who cares about minor details, it should of been looked into before releases and not fixed a month and a half later.
I’m on Xbox One and I beat the game? 40-50 hours into my 2nd play through. It’s buggy, yea, but you can do it and I by no means have exhausted the game but I really didn’t experience anything toooo crazy…definitely not constant crashing or anything, only corrupt saves on anything after completing Robber Barron, so I skipped that
probably have like 190-200 hours total played on it? You probably hit a shit bug that I just didnt get, have you tried a restart? I mean, anything is better than complaining in a forum about something that forum cannot control
We obviously have very different ideas as to what constitutes “rude shit”.
As for not ranting I would say that “This is BS! We want to play!..hurry up with the patch! I Fing pre ordered this game!” is pretty “ranty”, the excessive exclamation marks definitely contribute to the “rantiness”.

I reset my game 4 times and tried lock picking for hours never got anywhere with it. My main problem is i want the DLC armor and weapons and when you watch videos of people getting the DLC armor there are 6k worth of goods and coin next to or with the DLC armor. that is a huge boost in early game.
it might be a big boost but it’s really not necessary stuff in this game, which is really not as hard as people make it out to be. On Xbox lockpicking seemed really difficult and I pretty much tossed it out playthrough 1, on my second run I’m doing now I do a stealth guy and though my skills are low I’m not running into problems with lock picking on locks I can pick, easy and very easy. But if you’re on PS then Idk. It sucks that you cannot do the lock picking if that is what you want to do but it is not a game breaker, and they’re working on it(this patch I think, if not then its pick pocketing). We just have to wait, it’s out of WH hands now so that’s a good thing. Generally people give larger then needed time frames so you feel like it showed up early so let’s hope for that

I stood in line for an hour and a half to get a copy of this game at game stop just so i couldn’t play it for a month and a half. See how happy and joyful you would be if you paid for some broken junk.
Lock picking is frustrating at the beginning, but very easy to get the hang of it.

also, even though you probably already know this, you can get 10 free unlocks at the chest you learn from Peshek on and there are a bunch of easy chests in Neuhoff in the stables and in the houses. That’s where I’m getting my XP from. But Henry starts off shit at everything, even if you personally do all the controls right (he’s slower in combat, clumsy with lock picks and pick pocketing, etc) so restarting/ a patch won’t make it 100% better, you have to unlock stuff. But all skills start off hard but start to increase fast and become really easy; like a snowball effect so just keep practicing.
if you need money poaching is good and killing bandits and selling armor to Peshek is good. Use tha tmoney for lock picks, then pick locks. Even if you break a pick you still get xp so keep going
I know you can’t do anything with it. But could you put some pressure on Sony too? They should at least let you know how far the process is.
Yes that’s why I spent multiple hours yesterday helping people get random encounters working again, and multiple hours moderating…
What makes you think I didn’t buy the game? I paid $200 for the Duke edition.
The point is, Warhorse are not responsible for the delay in you getting the patch, we PC users have had it since Friday, everyone who owns a console knows that patches require certification, delays in releasing the patches are solely down to Sony/Microsoft so you should contact MS if you want to tell them to hurry up.

It’s not something that can be pressured or rushed (unfortunately), it’s the same for all devs, Sony and MS on average take 5-14 days for certification. If it’s any consolation they do seem faster these days than they used to be.
I had 23 lock picks and used them and it didn’t even get me to the 25% mark of lock picking level 0. I have put in 12 hours and watch lots of videos, i am glad people are trying to help me but this is by far the hardest thing i have ever had to do in any game. I think i will just stop trying to play. Someone posted on a different post that they didn’t change anything but the visual on the lock picking. so if i cant do it now i cant do it after the patch either.

Stop resetting your game. You will gain in-game skill from failing. Once you get a couple of points in lockpicking youll see a difference.
I beat the game on xbox. You rarely find anything super valuable in chests. I unlock “very hard” chests all the time that have mediocre gear, sometimes pure crap.
You need to play past lockpicking and buy picks when you have enough money to invest in it. But im telling you, its not ridiculous amounts of grochen. Let me put it this way, kill bandits is bigger money than lockpicking. And you don’t have to worry about getting bad reputation, which would cost you thousands if the village turns against you.
As for the dlc armor… I threw mine in the trash, it sells for 1 groschen each and it looks ridiculous. Every plate is better too.
First try the very easy locks only.

I hope your right, i guess i will just go off fighting and looking for better armor.
