Some suggestions

Greetings, everyone! I’ve spent about 50 hours playing KCD and I really like the game. However, nothing is perfect, as is the Kingdom Come Deliverance with it’s bugs, glitches and stuff, but this time I’d like to talk about some minor (or not so much) details that, in my opinion, would improve the gameplay at least a little.

  1. More different random encounters
I’m the kind of person who likes to run from town to town dealing with folks’ problems and beating the living out of these nasty cumans so I use fast travel and roads in general a lot. The problem is - there are very little different random encounters which themselves are divided into different very simple groups. For example, corplse on the road type is generally the same talk with a simingly random stranger who commited a murder and shows us after you start to check the corpse. Very little dialog change from time to time gets boring after about 5-6 encounters like this. Imho, there should be more customisation applied to these encounters, more different outcomes and more variety of random encounters in general. Never have I seen a wandering merchant who I actually can sell anything to, nor colud I really have a talk with strangers apart from those who wanted to duel me. My perfect man is the Riddler because every time I meet him, I got really hyped up to hear another one of his cool riddles. Make more encounters like him plz.

  2. "Hello, sir knight…"
In general, I don’t really like how everyone knows Henry, greets him passing by and dreams about this holy man sleeping at night. But than you put on a helmet and some shiny armor. BOOM (and sparkles) “Where did the Henry went?.. Oh, I’m so pleased such a noble knight takes intrest in me”. Like wtf. You at least sound like Henry, have the same height, the same horse and probably mostly the same clothes. This looks really weird to say the least. Also, the thing with every single person in the entire town greeting our Lord and saviour Henry should be tuned down a bit. It’s cool to see how popular our boy is but it quikly gets annoying.

  3. More voicelines overall.
I really like to talk to people to know more about game world and to boost up my charisma lvl. Yet, it feels so unsatisfying how basically every merchant says practially the same. No matter what his/her speciality is, what goods does he/she sale or at what amount - trading is always about “For that amount I can be persuaded”. I’d really like to hear more different voicelines from different merchants. What if he/she doesn’t feel like discussing the price today? Why there is no reaction to clearing someone’s cashbox with your 30 sets of cunman armor for only 399? Where are the simplest yet greatest “Yeah”, “Thanks” and “Up yours”? The same thing goes to about a dosen different npc who you need to often interct with. I know that voicelines are not a cheap suff, but I kindly ask devs to work on this in later updates.

  4. No functional armor, clothes and boots repairing stands
Yes there are repeir kits but what about repeiring workbenches? We have one for sharpening swords, yet there are non for repairing armor (blacksmithing is not only about working with sharp things), clothes (we can learn how to read, why can’t we learn how to sew?) or boots. You can relatively easily implement this using animation assets from some craftsmen or implement some new intersing mini-games where you bash your chestplate in the right spots to make it fixed or sew the cuts on your coat. This would improve experience a lot, concidering you have to buy or try to find repair kits or sit with a grindstone for at least an eternity to lvl up your Maintainence skill which has some of the most impactful perks in the game. Also the ability to wash your clothes would be really immercive.

  5. Blacksmithing for real
Henry is a blacksmith’s son. Yet we are not doing any smithing aside from helping our father early in the game. In my opinion, there should be an option for Henry to use his ancestor’s knowledge and make himself new armor and weapons instead of buying or looting them off bandits. I think a really good solution would be a new skill named “Craftsmanship” or something, where we could make or upgrade our own weapons and armor. Also, it would be cool if we could, as I stated above, learn how to sew and make ourselves our own clothing. Yes, this is not some “fix coin gain” type of suggestion, yet this will significantly improve the gameplay quality and will give players some new opportunities. Also, this system would be pretty easy to balance with reasonable skill cost for higher tier gear and various new ingredients so no worries about some newbies running around in full-plate armor at the start of the game.

That’s the end of this post. I would be glad if any of you posted below some of your suggestions because if not the Devs, modders will probably take a good care about some of them. God bless you, kind people.
