Something must be done with the bath houses

I understand that bathhouses need to be great, as they are so expensive. However, with the troubadour perk, i never have to worry about my needs. It kind of stinks that an aspect of game play is now gone.

I can’t even drink alcohol, as it gives nutrients.

One thing I consistently see is people complaining about both sides of the same coin.

Some people complain that the combat is impossible.
Others complain that it’s too easy.

Some people call bath houses "OP."
Now we have someone saying they’re useless.

From the developer’s perspective, what do you do? lol

It really comes down to play style and personal ability. Perhaps, since this combat is harder, you arent going to be the knight you thought you were going to be and are going to have to be a diplomat…or vice versa, perhaps you are like me and forget stuff easy(harder to remember story lines of who the lords want me to kill and who I shouldnt) and I happen to have picked up combat fairly easy. If you can beat Bernard you will become a great fighter in no time, so I whoop him around the arena at least every other in game day and now my guy is a brick sh*t house.

This game is not for everyone, and not everyone is going to be a knight or a rogue or whatever. I am terribly impatient, stealthily getting through a bandit camp and properly staking out is my huge down fall, so I just get good armor and good weapons and run in jacked up on schnapps and keep marigold potion handy. You have to figure out what works for you, play that wait and just wait for stuff to be balanced out a bit. Its not even a month out of release yet.

At the end of the day perks you take are completely optional, you are NOT forced to take them in the main, so if you take a perk that has both positive AND negative effect then you have to live by your choices and thus the consequences of YOUR choice with respect to gameplay.

I have quite a few perk points I have not spent because the perks left or are available have both positive and negative effect which I feel may impinge on my gameplay.

I am trying my hardest to only take perks that have no “downside” like that, because I dont know what I’m going to want later. Saving skill points is key too because you only get one point every so many levels so you may very well unlock something you want a level of two after you spent your skill point

I haven’t seen anyone call bathhouses useless and even if those people exist, they are likely in the severe minority.

As far as the combat goes, primarily, I have seen it broken up in two stages: initially and mid to end game.

Initially… there are people that think it is too difficult, others that think this makes sense, and those that like that it’s difficult. I haven’t seen anyone call the combat starting out too easy. Again, if those people exist, they are likely in the minority.

Mid to late… I’ve only seen people call it too easy. Likely because it is stupid easy. I probably wouldn’t take issue with this if not for the fact that I never felt any progression. It just seemed like combat seemed inexplicably difficult and then the next minute, it was crazy easy.

As far as what a developer is to do? I don’t know. Probably would have been a good thing to allow people to select their difficulty rather than trying to make a single difficulty that everyone was to adhere to… but again, I really don’t know.
