This is a great game. But I noticed that in terms of sound it could do a bit better with more locality to the sound. Basically, it feels like their is a SFX looped depending on area (birds etc.) but when you turn around, the sound does not change in angle at all.
For example, when you go through a forest and hear a bird chrip front left, and you turn, that sound should then feel like it is moving towards your back while you turn.
I know this is a small detail, but it creates a HUGE difference in the atmosphere of feeling “reel”. Most games out there look amazing nowadays, but when you get really dragged into the game, it is usually the sound engine that creates the feeling of “real world location”. Audio is organic and if it reacts to movement, your brains says: This is the real thing, because your brain is conditioned by RL experience and thus feels that this is a correct audio environment.
Just my 2 cent. It is how KC can easily push the suspension of disbelief to the next level.
