Ive had this a few times.
After reading a Treasure map & closing it my character is standing on his saddle & all the controls become unresponsive. Fast travel works, but it doesnt fix it. You have to reload.
Workaround - Read Treasure Maps while on foot.
Sometimes same with books.
Had it happen last night. I didn’t read any books or maps. I did open my inventory, removed my helmet, went to map, day traveled to from uzhitz to the monastery and it was stuck. Reloaded to a saviour schnapps save from 5 minutes prior (thank goodness), and was fine.
Get same thing sometimes when unmounted by NPC (reported +20d ago)
I have the same bug, this one is game breaking. It would nice to have a workaround to deal with this.
Agree. Got acknowledgement on Mar 8th they were looking into. With some others, they did said they were working on a fix. Need to send save files to them. Hopefully they can replicate with my saves and then get a fix released. Frustrating
I have had this happen when in combat on the horse. It has not been recoverable. So far it has only
been on the horse during combat, but the only way out is to reload a saved game.
Sometimes, if I accidentally hit the “get off horse” and “jump horse” buttons at the same time, Henry will be stuck glued to the horses legs.
I haven’t figured out a way to get out of it. You can’t leave the horse, but… the horse suddenly has unlimited stanima so you can gallop all over the map as fast as you want as long as you want… as long as you don’t mind the horse knee POV.
You can still die if you leap off a cliff though.
Happened me several times. Usually by reading on horse. But last occurance was during combat on horse. Attaching few screenshots.
I’m getting it too. I just get of my horse now to do anything lol. It is a pain, but better than getting stuck and having to reload a save. I have added the unlimited save mod because of all the bugs. I save a lot now, in case I have to back track and do things different because of a bug.
