Star Citizen Organization, from KC:D

Greetings, all
I was wondering if anybody would be interested in forming an organization with me in Star Citizen? Nobody I know is into SC so I’m looking for people to join me in striking a path across the SC universe.

Just running the idea up the flagpole.

We could call ourselves Knights of Star Citizen (KSC) or something like that (totally open to suggestions).

Thoughts? Be kind. Haters need not reply.

I think your idea is a good one but most of us probably already belong to an organization. At least we could be on friendly terms; my org is (RIGHT) Right Industries.

If we can join more than one than I would be game.

Yeah, I figured some people would already be in one.
I was hoping to rally folks like me who don’t already have one.

But, you bring up a great point and I think it’d be cool if we had some friendly alliances as well.

So if you’re already in a SC org let us know here as well.

I’m without organisation also  so far didn’t have time to look into all the difference between organisations so if any1 cares to explain me the types etc. much appreciated

I’m in LAMP personally, a casual kind of org so we’re pretty much happy to play with whoever.

I’m already working on a Faith class Explorers Guild I call “The Horologion Library”.

It’ll be a guild of galactic explorers, academics, and scientists seeking to uncover and catalog the universe’s mysteries and get a few star systems named after us in the process. But we will operate sort of like an old monastic order (hence the Faith classing).

Essentially we’ll be trading information for protection and goods from the PMCs and Corporations.

So if ever you need a question answered, seek out The Horologion Library.

I’m a member of my own organization, Mjolnir Aerospace Security Services. However, I’d love to fly missions with friendly folk anytime. Perhaps we could cooperate on a contract in the future. See you in the 'Verse!

Very cool!

Thanks to everyone for the replies. Looks like allies will not be in short supply when SC is in release.

Cheer!

That’s a really awesome idea. I’ll be in touch once the game release to see if you’ll need my assistance as a PMC.

Seeing how neither game is playable anytime soon, well it doesn’t matter. Have not joined any organization nor even been to the official forums once, just give them money and wait. I find I get fatigue quite quickly hanging around various venues, such as this one. Amass unrealistic expectations as well.

Though I think the overall sentiment is not bad. Play some other game with the group that has been assembled, create bonds and friendships beforehand. Not particularly social myself, introverted.

P.S: Also in terms of Alpha testing, I find playing other games brings about good ideas for the game you are testing, sort of like thinking about something else - when you are trying to remember something. Let your subconscious to bubble something to the surface.

That really depends for SC. With the dog fighting module and the planetside module the next two things slated to be released… theres gonna be the potential for contact between players and guilds pretty soon…both combat wise and socially.

We, as a german speaking multigaming clan and - in SC - being a PMC called “Devastating Authority” would also be glad to be able to assist with bounty hunting and security services. Making the universe a little bit saver. I’d be great to have some allies.

Aaa, but when might that be? Worth the wait at least - even if that humongous team of theirs only delivers a quarter of the promises.

Also your esteemed Organization sounds like people to my liking, might look you folks up when there is something to be discovered. Imagine Star Citizen will be much like Eve is to lone wolves. Of course EvE is the only thing it could be compared to even if the comparison is meager.

Much of the goal of Star Citizen is actually to be just the opposite of EvE. They want players to be able to have as much fun on their own as with others. The only big loss of playing on your own is that many of the bigger ships will be out of reach because they are a) super expensive and b) require a multi-person crew.

Another aspect you may want to look up is the PvP slider.

How about a name like K&C Deliveries.

The groundwork has been established, and The Horologion Library is now accepting applications.

All interested parties are encouraged to read our Manifesto and Charter for more information on our intentions.

Thanks for inducting me into the Horologian Library! I beseech anyone else who backs both KCD and SC to petition for entry as well!
