Are you online? Is your steam application open when launching the game?
Affirmative im online! and steam is open! tryied almost everything! from restarts to Reinstals (both steam and game) no luck so far
reinstal game, reinstal steam…no effect…
Same error for me. Was so freakin excited to play, and then this?
Why should the steam license be wrong anyway, as I was able to activate the game with it…?
I don’t assume there is much point in reinstalling the game or steam, so I won’t try that for now.
System is an i5 6600K @ 4,5 Ghz, Zotac GTX 1070, 16 gb RAM. System on SSD, Game on HDD.

Edit: Just found a solution in the steam discussions - just add the game to the exception list of your antivirus/firewall program.

Activate on steam, install, gets the same error message.
Would like a quick update from the devs on this.
