Since speaking to the Miller and learning to pickpocket I can no longer speak to villagers I am stuck in pickpocket mode, so now I’m just able to speak to quest givers, and traders. I thought after a few reboots or the big update it would correct it but I’m still feeling it and too far to restart.
Got the same bug - also I think that the bug re-applied itself to all saves, even though I do not undewrstand how that happened. Anyway Will not revert liek 5 hours back just because this game is buggy as hell. What a shame.
There are absolutely no villagers at all you can speak to not even the beggars in Rattay?
Not all NPC’s have an option to interact via dialogue, and even some only have a limited things to talk about.
The fact that you can still talk to some persons makes me curious if you are only noticing that some NPC can be interacted with after learning the pick pocketing.
Many of the beggars in Rattay will have limited dialogue but you should still be able to talk to them I suggest testing their just to knock out some variables, all though it is very hard!
Pick pocketing is not limited to being crouched. Just like in real life if you become skilled enough you can bump into someone and pick pocket them.

Oh my god you are right. I was in Uzhitz and not many people there can talk so it seemed like a bug. You can delete the whole topic and give me number of your bank accoutn to send those 3 usd for you to have beer in some tavern…
