Also the easiest way is…there is a draw bridge just jump of it towards the village and you’re out of the castle…free to go your way,.

yeah but I’d recommend to get the armor
its not that hard to do and you can simply grab your horse, let the guard open the door for you and ride out of talmberg without being suspicious in any way.

Also if you are jailed, they let you go after your sentence but it is the least convenient way to leave Talmburg.

Lol I had the armor but still I bribed the guard at the fenced door. Money got to roll…
I did just escape by going of the drawbridge and then just moving slowly, stay up high where the guards can’t see you and crawl (don’t stand up). I did remember getting caught by one guard but I could persuade him to let me go, he simply said “just make it like you are pushing me and then run away” or something. But I guess you must have a certain level of speech to do so.

the “armory” is actully the giant tower near the keeps entrance, sadly that little storeroom can confuse people into thinking its the armory(all chests locked and the bows and shields) but the bigger tower is actully the armory
has 4 levels all connected via ladder and is a circular tower not square and if you fall down a ladder its a long limping trip(assuming you survive) if you dont take the horse

There is no right or wrong way to do this. all the quests have multiple ways to complete them…
walk around, talk to people… find out more about your surroundings and you will discover different ways to complete the quest.

I got arrested trying to pick the lock of one of the chests and After being let out I was outside, so the fastest way it to simply get arrested 
oh man, guys, I must say I envy you, you all have such a great experience to leave caste. When I got the quest to leave I immediately jumped from the castle bridge, the result is I do not have money, I do not have picklocks I do not have armour anything 
damn
also when Henry woke up in the castle he was hungry so I went directly to the kitchen and every time I got close to the cheese the game crashed, after 15 minutes of loading I did the same thing and it crashed again like 4 times. Then I was tired so I asked borek and guess what, we walked into the kitchen but this time I did not touch the cheese.
also, I robbed the butcher’s son before I got the shovel, which was funny because in order to get the shovel you had to make a speech how bad it is to rob corpses. So little the guy know that the butcher’s son had been already cleared. damn I am terrible at this game

That’s the beauty of the game. You can complete one particular quest in many different ways, with different outcomes!

very thorough TarNaugrim, thanks. That is a different tower to the one i was trying to enter. I was trying the unlocked guard tower in the same area where you stand watch the night before. Inside are chest which are all locked so I imagine that is where all the confusion earlier in this post is coming from.

I’m glad I could be of assistance.
I was having the same issue, but actually learned that i could jump off the bridge and run. Got caught ( after getting cuaght you can get the first guard to let you go if you succeed in talking, but got caught again lol ), bought 2 lockpicks after stealing the 2 shields, selling them to the guy next to the gate guard, and picked the storage chest in the guard tower to get their armor set and the gate guard will let you out. Don’t forget your horse.
