I have finished the main quest “THE HUNT BEGUNS” but the new mission “GINGER IN A PICKLE” don’t start at all. I tryed evrything, I did the same quest for 4 times trying to hit some triggrer but it doesn’t work. What should I do? I played the quest after the patch so i don’t really know. Should I restart the entire game for a shitty mission or wait the next patch?
I wasted 2 hours of my life for nothing, please help me and sorry for the bad english.
If it truly is broken for you there is a million other things to do until it’s patched and fixed
It’s broken for everyone since the new patch unless they were already past The Hunt Begins. You can find tons of massive posts on the forums right now of people upset about this quest
Just do some other side quests, the next patch should be coming fairly soon! Sorry for the glitch!
Hopefully they hotfix the hotfix asap or roll it back. I was able to complete this quest with 1.2.2, started a game and I am stuck.
As harsh as this may be, i’m glad i’m not the only one who couldn’t get the task - thought i had messed up my game somehow by not going directly to the hunt begins task when they wanted me to get on horse and ride to neuholf or whatever the town is called…
Some genius created a mod that reverts 3 files back 1.2 that starts the quest look in the comments his username is r40k

As far as I’m aware the patch released contained a fix for an issue with this quest question.
Seems instead it has broken it completely.
And your advice is to await for another of these will they won’t they patches. 
Classic. But I suppose what else is there to do.
Seems verify your game in steam fixes it. Possible work around ( not tested) . Grabbed from other thread in case someone misses that one.
Check to see if you have an update pending on steam. It’s about a 221 mb download. It fixed the issue of the quest not starting.
