So I’ve put quite a few hours into this Game and same as everyone else having the same issue, I’ve reached a certain point where the game stutters so much it is virtually unplayable. In my opinion as a humble gamer, it seems to me like items arent despawning when they’re supposed to, Like all the Halberds, the dozens and dozens of halberds being left behind by guards during the night shift. It seems like this is causing a save bloating effect, in the sense that the longer you play, your performance seems to steadily degrade until the stutters hit the point of virtual unplayability. Started a new game to test this out and sure enough, the stutters flair up around a certain benchmark of playtime. lets say in the 20-40 hour window. and its always after discovering rattay. I remember astroneer having the same issue early on, although admittedly that game was advertised as early access and pre-alpha. This game, having been sold as a finished $60 product, should not have the same issue. Some say that going around and grabbing the halberds and then dropping them may cause them to despawn over time and potentially improve the stutter, but I’m not going around on a prop hunt just to fix a problem that shouldn’t even be a problem in the first place. I paid $60 for this game like most others and i expect to (at the very least) get a playable game. This is unacceptable. Another patch is desperately needed to address this issue itself. Stop worrying about the glitchy side quests and silly walking NPC’s. Please focus on mending some of the core issues with the title. Please Please Please. You’ve created a wonderful game here as far as aesthetic and immersion goes, but you absolutley need to address the performance issues for console players.

I noticed if you wait in one place too long the stutter gets way worse. I really hope 1.4 will fix this; But for know try not to wait in any cities and maybe this might help a bit.
