When sitting at a table at an inn, pushing the Y button, that normally summons the horse, instead will summon the waitress. Any drinks or food Henry orders will be paced on the table in front of him. Clicking on that will consume it. Ideally, all of this occurs in 3rd person view.

Heard a rumor that Czechs like to drink. Drinking animations too. Doesn’t have to be as done up as the night with Godwin but a night out with friends

Yes. Thats right. I also missed it. Sit at the tavern table and order beer and food and eat and drink it there. And toast beer with other person at the table. (Prost!)!

Thank you! I believe all of the animations needed are already in the game. You can watch NPC call the waitress, she walks over, pours beer in their mugs and they drink it.
I always see my buddy Hans in the pubs and I really want to join him for a few rounds. Drinking beer from my inventory screen just doesnt have the right feel.
I really hope they like the idea and go all out. Additional options for buying the house a round (raises reputation), singing, and telling stories of encounters with cumans and treasure hunting would really add a lot of depth to this already amazing game.

Not Czech but would imagine the copious quantities of beer they drink are associated with tales of this and that. Would be an absolute master stroke to replicate this mechanic to boost rep (unless Henry becomes an angry drunk and starts fights… then rep hit), gain access to quests/activities (befriend peeps and gain opportunities), etc
Matthew, Fritz, et al. WH did a reasonably good job of creating a crew of mates. Would be fantastic to elaborate this theme by adding more group oriented content… the drinking, talking, singing, fighting, etc together generally and in band of bastards specifically. Remembering that arguably the best quest is the Godwin one in which all the aforementioned occurred

you could make some food only available at inns like some nice meat pie that makes you stronger for an hour or something then makes him tired during digestion. maybe you could also buy drugs at inns to get better effects but if ur caught your reputation falls with that inn

Yep nice easy method how to apply commonsense fix.
During my first hour, I thought what can I do in tavern besides gambling. Why the hell sitting is a thing in this game.
