Suggestions to improve inventory UI (and other general suggestions)

Hi,

to improve the inventory/chest UI, I have the following suggestions:

  • Add a search box where you can enter an item’s name
  • Make armor sortable by Head / Feet / etc. so that you can compare different items more easily
  • When you move the mouse over an equipped item on the character screen on the right, not only show its place name but also the name of the item! In addition, if you hold ALT during hover, you see all items that you have in your inv/saddle bag and will fit in this place
  • Also mark stolen items in your chest with a red mark like in your inventory / saddle bag. Watching for the “steal” button to check if it still counts as “stolen” is extremly annoying
  • Also make a wearing preview of armor that’s in your chest / saddle bag
  • Make an additional column with total weight so you directly see / can sort for the heaviest items overall
  • Let us create different armor sets. At least 2 or 3 would be enough (Fight, Sneaky black clothes, etc.). All items in the inventory and saddle bags which belong to a set will then be automatically equipped when this set is selected.

More ideas:

  • Mark known alchemy receipts as learned (like books you already read)
  • Fix the display bug when stacking items of same type (e.g. Arrows). Had two stacks of normal hunting arrrows in my bag (12 and 18). If I put them in my chest, they are merged to 30. But when I use them during a hunt, the quiver is empty after 12 and I have to “reload” with the 18 left in my bag.
  • To avoid abuse of loot carrying (was carrying 801/109 after last hunt), limit the maximum carryable amount to twice of normal maximum (that would be 218/109 in my example) instead of no limit
