Read about this a long while back: I use Swiffer floor cleaning Cloths as a dust filter on my computer case. Actually does catch the house dust that the fans suck in over time. It is ugly as sin but works!
I cut the sheets to fit over the intake areas and keep them there with little magnets I got from a hardware store.
One use lasts for months and can be seen to get greyer as time goes on.
I recently upgraded my system parts and the old parts were used as a trade in. The Tech was quite surprised how clean the CPU fan was . He was expecting to hafta clean out the parts after several months of heavy use.
Take it or leave it. Thought I just tell about it.
