Sword & Bow in 0.5?

Hey folks,

is there a chance to get a bow and/or a sword in 0.5?

I went to the shooting range next to the military camp, but I was told to get a bow and arrows to try it out.

I also would love to try swordfight out of the arena, is there any possiblity to get a sword or maybe a different melee weapon?

There sure is a way how to get a bow and a sword.

Firstly the easy one:
Sword:

  1. You can get it in the house of the merchant in Samopesh . It is locked in a chest. (the house is right behind the sitting merchant).
  2. Another sword is hidden in a secret stash (hollow tree) on the edge of the “cuman” forest (this one is old and does less damage).
  3. You will get a sword after you defeat the hardest fighter in the Arena. (good luck with that :smiley: )

Bow:

  1. Steal it from the chest next to the shooting range. You have to do it in night not to get caught. And even then there is pretty high possibility that you will be seen, but try until you get it.
  2. Easier way is to get a sword and kill someone who has the bow (make sure he is alone).
  3. In earlier patch you were able to buy it from the soldier who owned previous shooting range, but it is now bugged or removed.

Right now there are only longswords and bows in the game.

There are different ways to get them.
You can get the sword if you beat the three opponents in the arena or if you kill someone who have a sword with the bow. There is also a crate in samopesh with a sword.
The create at the shooting range do have a bow and arrows, but it is difficult to get because you are not allowed to break the lock and steal it.
If you bring the lost sheep to the other sheeps, the shepherd will give you a bow and arrows.

Thanks for your fast replies. Looking forward to my session in the evening defeating all the arena fighters :wink: …or maybe I just take it away from the merchant.

You can also get a sword, and armor, by moving them to your horse while you’re doing arena matches. If you want to beat the arena guys, just push them out and win by ring out. Sometimes they have infinite stamina and can take 20 consecutive sword hits or arrows to the head and still won’t lose. Other times they will lose after a few hits.
