Help. Sword fighting mechs aren’t working. Any strike or defend does nothing in training or real fight same as fist fights. Not sure whats wrong did the prologue and could fist fight the guy after throwing shit at his house but nothing after that??

Yeah that was last night did prologue. Today made my eay back home to bury my parents and couldnt fight or do any form of damage to the bandit. Now at rattay training with the captain and nothing works
I dont think you can beat the bandit when you go back to Skalitz, it’s part of the story.

I have the same glitch too, done all the collection stuff, got past the movement training , then nothing, i can move the sword in different positions but it won’t let me slash.
havent heard of this yet… I dont know why this is happening
do you have PS4 version? Did you already play/save before release?

I have exactly the same problem. I can thrust/stab but I can’t slash or kick now with a sword. It’s driving me mad. I managed to get to the same guy as you in Rattay as thought maybe I had to learn it from him. Can’t get past it now because the button doesn’t work. Fuming
Perhaps I’m doing something wrong as well. When ever I’m in a fight with my shield, it seems as though I can’t block with LB, however out fight I see the animation. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong or not noticing. I’ve only killed 19 people so far so not much experience yet with combat.
Happy to say though I’m capable of taking on 3 armed bandits at once!
please whenever you report a bug write what console you’re playing on and if you have PC would be good to have specs
Just had this email back. Do I really need to reconfigure it to another button. And what fucking button? They are all in use.
I guess you could try swapping jump with slash and then try putting it back to normal again? See if that fixes the issue.
I’ll try it. Never had a game where something as simple as the buttons don’t work. Livid. I wasted about four hours of my day off trying to figure this shit out.
Nothing works by that i mean blocking slashing or poking has no effect doesn’t do anything pressing the buttons. Im using a ps4
