System requirement help!

Hi Guys! Having trouble making KCD run smoothly. First of all I know next to nothing about computers, but I’ll do my best to list my computer specs correctly. If something is off im using a HP Elitebook Folio 1040 G1, which isn’t exactly made for gaming!

Intel HD Graphics 4400
Intel Core i7-4600U CPU @ 2.10GHz (4CPUs)
8GB RAM

Would be thankfull if anyone could tell me if there is a possibility of making this work, thanks! :slight_smile:

one of the things I did to make the game run was turn the render distance down to one bar and turn all the graphics to low and make it in windowed mode and then turn the resolution to something low. hope this helps.

That’s your main problem.

As above though, turn vegetation draw distance to zero. LoD to zero. Draw distance to low. I wouldn’t say zero on draw distance or the pop up on everything would be too distracting. Then lower your resolution.

If you still can’t get it to run smoothly after all that, then your only option is another PC.

Did help somewhat, time to batle on with 14FPS haha. Thanks guys!
